For you is what the dawn revealed, and the honor of spears has soared,
spears, and swift steeds fly bearing armored warriors.
As the racing horses took flight with the banners.

And you are a speaker when the warriors argue.

The wool piles dislike the evil of their lodging by it,

As the generous visitor knocks.

In hardships and drought he takes refuge with the one who lights up,
by one who fears death and by destitute little children.
As the timid and heavily-armed seek safety.

And lovers forget their passion [for a while],
And desire pacifies the youth with an illusion,
while you are passionately devoted to noble deeds, enamored of them.
While you have passion for generosity, piercing and direct.

May you live on, and may your sandal never slip on the heights of glory,
You remained lofty, your sandal did not slip,
to preserve bounty and generosity as long as the sun rises.
To preserve glory and bounty however long the bright star rose.
