أيّهاO you المقترthe one who stints شُحّاًout of miserliness لاَdo not تَخَفْfear
أيّها المقتر شُحّاً لاَ تَخَفْ
عيْلةًpoverty فاللهfor God حيٌّliving يرزقُprovides sustenance
عيْلةً فالله حيٌّ يرزقُ
O you who stint out of miserliness, do not fear
O you who are stingy, do not fear poverty
poverty, for God is living and provides sustenance.
God is alive and provides sustenance
مُحكمُthe clear text of التنزيلِthe Revelation قدalready قَالَhas said لناto us
مُحكمُ التنزيلِ قد قَالَ لنا
لنwill not تَنَالواyou (plural) attain البرَّrighteousness حتّىuntil تُنفِقواyou (plural) spend
لن تَنَالوا البرَّ حتّى تُنفِقوا
