واللهِ ما أخّرهُ ربَنا

واللهِ ما أخّرهُ ربَنا

وهو لأرباب المعالي إمامُ

وهو لأرباب المعالي إمامُ

By God, our Lord did not place him last—

though he is a leader of those of lofty distinction—

إلاّ لأَنْ كان ختاماً لهم

إلاّ لأَنْ كان ختاماً لهم

لِلّه ما أحسن هذا الختام

لِلّه ما أحسن هذا الختام

except because he was to be their culmination.

God be praised—how beautiful this culmination!
