قَتَلوا الوَارمَ ظلْماً وأتَوا

قَتَلوا الوَارمَ ظلْماً وأتَوا

بمقَالٍ منه نقْضي عَجَبا

بمقَالٍ منه نقْضي عَجَبا

They killed al-Warim unjustly and made

a claim at which we die of wonder,

حين قالوا يدخل النارَ وقد

حين قالوا يدخل النارَ وقد

قتلُوه صَابراً مُحتسِبا

قتلُوه صَابراً مُحتسِبا

when they said, “He will enter the Fire,” though

they killed him as he endured patiently, seeking God's reward.
