Of a people whose branches have grown tall in lofty honors,
Its branches in glories lengthened loftily
rising high, and whose roots have flourished in noble endeavors.
And its roots throve in endeavors
إذاwhen انتَسَبتْclaimed kinship لِلْمكرماتِwith noble deeds بنوthe sons of العُلىeminence

فأَنتthen you أخُوهاtheir brother دَونَهمْrather than them وشقيقُهاand their full brother
When the sons of eminence claim kinship with noble deeds,
If the noble tie themselves to benefactions
you, not they, are their brother and full sibling.
Then you are their brother, less than them not, and their sibling
وكَمْand how many منof ملوكٍkings قدindeed ثَللْتَyou toppled عروشهَاtheir thrones

And many are the kings whose thrones you have toppled,
And how many kings have you given shade to their thrones
whom no mortal but you could have withstood.
And was it not for you, a temperament that can handle them

They rebelled and oppressed, acting wickedly, and turned away;
They tyrannized and did wrongdoing and turned away
so their tyranny and wickedness recoiled upon them.
So their tyranny and wrongdoings befell them

You confronted them in every trackless desert,
You stood for them in every obscured plain
while its path lay dark beneath the swirling dust.
And their path darkened under the injustice

And you gave them the cup of wars to drink, as though
And you let them drink the cup of wars as if
its pure wine were served to them on spearpoints.
You poured over them in the heights its pure drink

And you brought them into the faith, by force and willing submission,
And you entered them into the religion compellingly and obediently
when their defection from God's religion had become plain.
And the deviance of the religion of God has appeared from it

Until they honored the sacred law's due and took heed.
Until they pastured the right of Sharia and pastured
And but for you, its rights would not have been upheld.
And was it not for you, its rights would not be pastured

And you did not cease until its defenders submitted willingly,
And you did not stop until its protectors willingly surrendered
and until its kings and slaves stood equal.
And until its properties and slaves equalized

And they came to you, until its defenders submitted willingly,
And they came to you until its protectors willingly surrendered
and until its kings and slaves stood equal.
And until its properties and slaves equalized

Would you ever fill watering places for seekers of bounty,
Do I one day pasture resources for the weak
while I depart from them thirsty, without tasting their waters?
And issue from it a darkness I do not taste?

Yours are glory and high rank, beyond dispute,
To you belongs the glory and loftiness with no contention
when those who vie for high honors press their claims.
If a band argues the glories’ claim.
