وما ضرّني أَنْ لاَ تَرونَ فَضَائِلي

وما ضرّني أَنْ لاَ تَرونَ فَضَائِلي

فما خَفِيتْ إلاَّ عَلى أَعْينٍ رُمدِ

فما خَفِيتْ إلاَّ عَلى أَعْينٍ رُمدِ

And it has not harmed me that you do not see my virtues;

It does me no harm that you cannot see my virtues.

For they are hidden only from inflamed eyes.

For they are obscured only to blind eyes.
