وأنّand that كُلِّall الحقّthe truth
وأنّ كُلِّ الحقّ
عندَwith العتْرةِthe kindred الزكيّهْthe pure
عندَ العتْرةِ الزكيّهْ
And that all truth
The truth is entirely
lies with the pure kindred.
With the immaculate progeny
هُمْthey قادتيmy leaders وسَادتيand my masters
هُمْ قادتي وسَادتي
وأسْوتيand my example المرضيّهْthe approved
وأسْوتي المرضيّهْ
They are my leaders and my masters,
They are my leaders and masters
and my worthy example.
And my exemplars of righteousness
أَمَّاas for سواهُمanyone besides them فأبتْso rejected
أَمَّا سواهُم فأبتْ
هُhim نَفْسيَmy soul الأَبيَّهْthe unyielding
هُ نَفْسيَ الأَبيَّهْ
As for anyone besides them, he is rejected
As for others, my unyielding soul
by my unyielding soul.
