حَجَّ مَواليكِ يا بُرهانُ وَاِعتَمَروا

حَجَّ مَواليكِ يا بُرهانُ وَاِعتَمَروا

وَقَد أَتَتكِ الهَدايا مِن مَواليكِ

وَقَد أَتَتكِ الهَدايا مِن مَواليكِ

Your devotees have performed the Hajj, O Burhan, and the lesser pilgrimage.

Your followers have performed hajj and umrah, O Burhan

And gifts have already come to you from your devotees.

And gifts have come to you from your followers

فَأَطرِفيني بِما قَد أَطرَفوكِ بِهِ

فَأَطرِفيني بِما قَد أَطرَفوكِ بِهِ

وَلا تَكُن طُرفَتي غَيرَ المَساويكِ

وَلا تَكُن طُرفَتي غَيرَ المَساويكِ

So give me a choice gift from what they have given you.

So delight me with what has delighted you

And let my gift be nothing but tooth-cleaning sticks.

And let my delight be none other than yours

وَلَستُ أَقبَلُ إِلّا ما جَلَوتِ بِهِ

وَلَستُ أَقبَلُ إِلّا ما جَلَوتِ بِهِ

ثَنِيَّتَيكِ وَما رَدَّدتِ في فيكِ

ثَنِيَّتَيكِ وَما رَدَّدتِ في فيكِ

And I accept only what you have used to polish

I will accept only what you have uttered

Your two front teeth, and what you have moved about in your mouth.

In your couplets and what you have recited in your mouth
