كُنَّا حُرُوفاً عَالِياتٍ لَمْ نُقَلْ

كُنَّا حُرُوفاً عَالِياتٍ لَمْ نُقَلْ

مُتَعلِّقاتٍ في ذُرَى أَعْلى القُلَلْ

مُتَعلِّقاتٍ في ذُرَى أَعْلى القُلَلْ

We were lofty letters that had not been uttered,

We were lofty letters unuttered

Suspended at the summits of the highest peaks.

Suspended in the ether of the highest peaks

أَنَا أَنْتَ فيهِ وَنَحْنُ أَنْتَ وأَنْتَ هُوْ

أَنَا أَنْتَ فيهِ وَنَحْنُ أَنْتَ وأَنْتَ هُوْ

والكلُّ في هُوَ هُوْ فَسَلْ عَمَّنْ وَصَلْ

والكلُّ في هُوَ هُوْ فَسَلْ عَمَّنْ وَصَلْ

I am you in Him, and we are you, and you are He.

I am you in it, we are you and you are he

And all in Him is He; so ask about the one who has arrived.

And all are in the One - so ask who arrived
