    Return to graceful, tactful ways.

For you did not know whom you shunned.

How often you reveal what is veiled!

Easy now—for it is no girl's eye.

For we have learned of what

Has come from you—and you know it too.

She said, 'Am I not among the free women?'

I said, 'Rather, my lady, you used to be.'

You are not that one, spear-straight

In stature—so why have you veiled yourself?

A face that, whenever it appears, I say:

At its ugliness, 'That's what I pissed beneath me!'
