Now that the beloved are pleased, let whoever wishes be angry.

After the joy of this unveiling, there is no veiling.

A delight that has a place in every heart,

and contentment with which all life is sweet.

No warning rings true from a slanderer who schemed

out of envy, nor does the voice of hope lie.

Today, then, what dwellings are not desired

for habitation, and which of their waters are not sweet?

And I would give my lifeblood for the moon who—the moon who—

in his fullness, by virtue of his perfection, is not veiled.

He holds back from being seen holding back,

and shuns being one who shuns.
