أنا لِلْمَجَالِسِ وَالجَلِيسِ أَنيسةٌ

أنا لِلْمَجَالِسِ وَالجَلِيسِ أَنيسةٌ

أَزْهَى بِحُسْنٍ نَاظرٍ لِلنَّاظِرِ

أَزْهَى بِحُسْنٍ نَاظرٍ لِلنَّاظِرِ

I am a pleasant companion at gatherings and to the one who sits with me.

I'm a joy to assemblies and a boon companion,

I shine with beauty that gazes upon the beholder.

Delighting the beholder with my beauty.

أَصْفُو فأُظْهِرُ ما أُجِنُّ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ

أَصْفُو فأُظْهِرُ ما أُجِنُّ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ

في باطِني شَيْءٌ يخالفُ ظَاهِري

في باطِني شَيْءٌ يخالفُ ظَاهِري

I become clear and reveal what I conceal; and there has never been

I'm pure, revealing outwardly what I hide within;

Anything within me that differs from my outward appearance.

Nothing inside me contradicts my exterior.
