With your eyes that are indifferent

My death seems easy today, O my love

When my eyes see your beautiful face drawing near

By your right, O my soul, I got drunk without drinking

If the morning breeze shook your swaying sidelock

Passion confused my devotion and I was absent from my mind

So let me and this cheek, I will squeeze

Bunches of his temple in my mouth, and that is enough for me

If the merchants of moist pearls saw

Your curves, they would not care about moist pearls

    O cupbearer whose cheek exceeds

Its redness, stop giving company the cup

That's not stinginess with drinks but

When you smile, I cannot guarantee them from robbery

By Allah, tell me O gazelle how you

Learned to hunt lions in the traps of love

What is that you sold and mortgaged with it

    Necklaces as thick pledges

So take the story of complaint from the eyes

You denied the sweetness of sleep without guilt

Do not blame morning radiance that unveiled you

Unveiling the veil is more fitting for the radiant morning
