  1. رُبَّ طَبَّاخٍ مَليحٍ

    فَاترِ الطَّرْفِ غَريرِ

    Many a handsome cook,

    languid-eyed and guileless,

  2. مالِكي أَصْبَحَ لكنْ

    شَغلوهُ بِالقُدُورِ

    has become my master, but

    they have kept him busy with the pots.
