Do not condemn his burning, in love,
Do not deny that he burns with passion,

My heart, so there is no shame in that.
قُلْتُI said لَهْto him أَنْتَyou لَهُof it مالكٌmaster (also Mālik)
قُلْتُ لَهْ أَنْتَ لَهُ مالكٌ

فَكَانَ فيهِ خَازِنَ النَّارِ
I said to him, 'You are its master,'

So he became within it the keeper of the Fire.
So he became the keeper of fire within him.
