By your life, Fakhr al-Iraqi is not dead,
By your life! The Iraqi pride is not dead,
Even though he has a grave among the graves.
Though between graves, it has a grave.

But the other world came and adorned herself,
But the other has come, adorned,
And vied with this world in glory, and the glory was hers.
Boasted to the world, and it had the pride.
