لاdo not تَطْلُبنَّseek القُوتَsustenance مِنْfrom مَعْشَرٍa people
لا تَطْلُبنَّ القُوتَ مِنْ مَعْشَرٍ
مَاnot عِنْدَهُمْwith them لُطْفٌkindness ولاnor رَحْمَهْmercy
مَا عِنْدَهُمْ لُطْفٌ ولا رَحْمَهْ
Do not seek sustenance from a people
Do not seek sustenance from a people
who have neither kindness nor mercy.
Who have no kindness or mercy.
مَنْthose who لَيْسَthere is no فيin لُحْمهُمُtheir meat فَضْلةًa surplus
مَنْ لَيْسَ في لُحْمهُمُ فَضْلةً
فَلَيْسَthen there is no فِيin فَضْلِهِمُtheir bounty لَحْمَهa morsel of meat
فَلَيْسَ فِي فَضْلِهِمُ لَحْمَه
Those whose meat has nothing to spare
Those who have no surplus in their flesh
have no morsel of meat in their bounty.
Have no flesh in their surplus.
