واسَوأَتاoh, shame! مِنof رَأيِكَyour judgment العازِبِwayward

وَعَقلِكَand your reason المُستَهتِرِreckless الذاهِبِlost
وَعَقلِكَ المُستَهتِرِ الذاهِبِ
Oh, the shame of your wayward judgment,
And of your reckless, lost reason,

And of Rashiq, as he comes forward,
Spitting into the graying hair of your ass.

On Ali ibn Abi Talib.
