When the caliphs are counted on a day of boasting,
If the caliphs are counted on a day of pride,
you outstrip their foremost by a clear margin.
Your reigns have clearly outdistanced theirs.

Death took you from us, though it was our lot
for us in shielding you from death.
To experience your death.
