Indeed, God's help and victory—al-Fath—have come.
The victory of God has come, and the conquest,
And dawn has torn the darkness away from us.
And the dawn has ripped apart the darkness for us.

شِمَتُهُhis nature الإِنعامُbestowing favors وَالصَفحُand forgiveness
A kingdom's minister and a dynasty's hope,
The minister of a king and the hope of a state,
His nature is beneficence and forgiveness.
His trait is bestowal and pardon.
كَاللَيثِlike a lion إِلّاexcept أَنَّهُthat he ماجِدٌnoble
كَالغَيثِlike rain إِلّاexcept أَنَّهُthat he سَمحُgenerous
Like a lion, except that he is noble;
Like a lion, except that he is glorious,
Like rain, except that he is generous.
Like rain, except that he is generous.
وَكُلُّand every بابٍdoor لِلنَدىto generosity مُغلَقٍclosed
فَإِنَّماthen only مِفتاحُهُits key الفَتحُal-Fath (victory)
And every closed door to generosity—
And every door to bounty is locked,
Its only key, then, is al-Fath.
Yet its key is only the conquest.
