لِلَّهِ دَرُّكَ قَد أَكمَلتَ أَربَعَةً

لِلَّهِ دَرُّكَ قَد أَكمَلتَ أَربَعَةً

ما هُنَّ في أَحَدٍ مِن سائِرِ البَشَرِ

ما هُنَّ في أَحَدٍ مِن سائِرِ البَشَرِ

God bless you—you have perfected four traits

For God your worth, you have now four

Found in no one else among humankind:

None amongst all mankind have them before

العِرضُ مُمتَهَنٌ وَالنَفسُ ساقِطَةٌ

العِرضُ مُمتَهَنٌ وَالنَفسُ ساقِطَةٌ

وَالوَجهُ مِن سَفَنٍ وَالعَينُ مِن حَجَرِ

وَالوَجهُ مِن سَفَنٍ وَالعَينُ مِن حَجَرِ

Your honor is debased, and your soul is base,

Chastity downtrodden and soul on the floor

And your face is of shagreen, and your eye of stone.
