If indeed Rawh has gone, fleeing his guests,

then Umayr, the second rain, is not departing.

You sniffed the whores' arses and were driven headlong

by foolish lust into Tall Masih.

You carried to them, when you headed their way,

the guilt of a cock that brings disgrace among the clan.

May that desire never succeed, for it

seeks a goal that does not lead to glory.

And I never feared that my request would be deferred

for Uqayb's two testicles and shameful affairs,

nor that, among you, the debased fellow's arse should be

worth more than my pride in you and my praises.

So go, unregretted: parting is no

torment, nor is the calamity at hand grievous.
