By Allah, I swore a true oath, a covenant
What the slanderer claimed was not as he claimed.
It was not what the slanderer claimed as he claimed

So how can he who I do not abandon, abandon me
grieving, seeking from him a bond that has been severed?
While I lament a rope from him that's slipping away

I've given up hope for joy; nothing remains

The turns of fate poured down upon it when it ruled
and Time inclines toward injustice whenever it judges.
And time draws near to wrong when it rules

One who loves farewells takes pleasure at their limit
relishing an embrace from her and a close clasp.

We mingled with it a spark we ignited or lit
