كُلُّ المَظالِمِ رُدَّت غَيرَ مَظلَمَةٍ

كُلُّ المَظالِمِ رُدَّت غَيرَ مَظلَمَةٍ

مَجرورَةٍ في مَواعيدِ اِبنِ عَبّاسِ

مَجرورَةٍ في مَواعيدِ اِبنِ عَبّاسِ

All wrongs have been redressed, save one wrong,

All the injustices have been redressed except one

dragged out in the promises of Ibn Abbas.

Which continues to oppress, as foretold by Ibn Abbas

مَنعَتَني فَرحَةَ النُجحِ الَّذي اِلتَمَسَت

مَنعَتَني فَرحَةَ النُجحِ الَّذي اِلتَمَسَت

نَفسي فَلا تَمنَعَنّي راحَةَ الياسِ

نَفسي فَلا تَمنَعَنّي راحَةَ الياسِ

You denied me the joy of the success sought by

My joy at the success I sought has hindered me

my soul; so do not deny me the comfort of despair.

So do not hinder me from the respite of despair
