وَقَوراءَand a broad basin كَالفُلكِlike the celestial sphere المُستَديرِround
وَقَوراءَ كَالفُلكِ المُستَديرِ
تَروقُdelights العُيونthe eyes بِلَألائِهاwith its sparkle
تَروقُ العُيون بِلَألائِها
And a broad basin, like the rounded celestial sphere,
Graceful as a round ship
Delights the eyes with its sparkle.
Eyes admire her beauty
حَبَتهاendowed it البِحارُthe seas بِأَموجِهاwith their waves
حَبَتها البِحارُ بِأَموجِها
وَسُحُبُand the clouds السَماءِof heaven بِأَنوائِهاwith their rains
وَسُحُبُ السَماءِ بِأَنوائِها
The seas have endowed it with their waves,
Seas love her with their waves
And the clouds of heaven with their rains.
And sky's clouds with their processes
كَأَنَّas though تَدَفُّقَthe surge تَيّارِهاof its current
كَأَنَّ تَدَفُّقَ تَيّارِها
يَداكَyour two hands تَفيضُoverflow بِنُعمائِهاwith their bounties
يَداكَ تَفيضُ بِنُعمائِها
As though the surge of its current
As if the flow of her currents
Were your two hands, overflowing with their bounties.
Your hands overflow with her blessings
وَجودُكَand your generosity أَغزَرُmore abundant مِنthan جَريِهاits flow
وَجودُكَ أَغزَرُ مِن جَريِها
وَخُلقُكَand your character أَعذَبُsweeter مِنthan مائِهاits water
وَخُلقُكَ أَعذَبُ مِن مائِها
And your generosity is more abundant than its flow,
And your generosity more copious than its course
And your character is sweeter than its water.
And your nature sweeter than her water
