فكأنّماso, as though هوit صَولجانُa polo mallet زُمُرُّذof emerald
فكأنّما هو صَولجانُ زُمُرُّذ
مُتلَقِّفٌcatching كُرةًa ball منَof الياقوتruby
مُتلَقِّفٌ كُرةً منَ الياقوت
For it is as though it were an emerald polo mallet,
As though a sapphire wand, pure and rare
catching a ball of ruby.
