When the banner of spring appeared
and the armies of frost were routed,
And the armies of winter were defeated

the water wore doubled coats of mail,
The water on the armors increased
and the blossoms were like leveled spearheads.
And the light became like the rising tongues

Spring shook slender spears from its branches
It shook the rain from its branches
and drew blades from its pools.
And the clouds unloaded their burdens

The east wind delivered messages
And the morning breeze conveyed messages
as winter turned its shoulder and departed.
When the compassion of winter departed

And the pulpits of trees were erected
and the melodious birds preached.
And the beds of birds preached

The nightingale's expression grew eloquent:
And the expression of jest became eloquent
it reads aloud spring's proclamation.
It is a witness for the banner of spring

And Nawruz came like a governor
and reclaimed the surplus from the nights.
So excellence took back from the nights

And gave good news of perfection to the deficient
and the world returned to equilibrium.
So the world returned to moderation

through it, God brought each to exaltation.
Each, through which God attained glory

Justice took up residence and remained,
So justice resided and seclusion was observed
while oppression departed, condemned and dismissed.
And injustice said farewell, condemned, and turned away

At their two exaltations, the two suns found good fortune:
The two glories made the two suns fortunate
the morning sun and the sultan's radiant brow,
The sun of morning and the new moon of the sultan

So the people and days became balanced
and branding iron and branded alike were safe.
And the marked and unmarked were safe

Since they rose and people saw
neither injustice nor darkness remained.
No more injustice or darkness remained

And it shot the earth so it pierced

And terror has become a defeat for winter

the branch went gray before its youth.
So the branch became youthful before youth

The promise made pleading unnecessary

The flowers are an eye for the garden that winks
which came to seem like prisons.
It hugs for a while and then it opens

and Iblis cried out among his troops:
But it overflows with tears

Vigor and cloud shared in the gardens
he who once expelled your father from them,

So go into the open and behold your dwelling.
Until when it returned north, it laughed

Help the wind and do not care

Rather, He who forgives it knows

from anger to desire, by everyone.
There is no sin too great for God’s pardon

I am a man—whether you marvel or not—
So people in his gardens are pacified
whom worry devours when I do not drink.
And time is an obedient, listening slave

The sun of his face rains and rises
no seeker has found his equal.
His face does not become clouded and lightning

The gushing sea of his streams
But all mankind in one man—there is only one.

The sultan of the world made it ready for victory

taking it away in exchange for what he gives him.
So it defeats the army with a name alone
