جُوزيت مِن رَب الهدى عَن خَلقِهِ

جُوزيت مِن رَب الهدى عَن خَلقِهِ

ماذا تَشا وَكَفيت سرّ الحَسَّدِ

ماذا تَشا وَكَفيت سرّ الحَسَّدِ

May the Lord of guidance reward you on behalf of His creatures

With whatever you wish, and spare you what the envious conceal.

أَبعدَتَهُم عَن كُل لَهو مُرشِداً

أَبعدَتَهُم عَن كُل لَهو مُرشِداً

حَتّى اِهتَديت مَن لَم يَكُن بِالمُهتَدي

حَتّى اِهتَديت مَن لَم يَكُن بِالمُهتَدي

You kept them from every diversion, guiding them,

Until you guided those who had not been rightly guided.

وَصحت بِكَ الدُنيا فَلَيسَ بِها يَرى

وَصحت بِكَ الدُنيا فَلَيسَ بِها يَرى

مِن مُسكر إِلّا لِحاظ الخرَّد

مِن مُسكر إِلّا لِحاظ الخرَّد

And through you the world grew sober; no one sees in it

Any intoxicant but the glances of bashful maidens.
