  1. يا نازِحاً عَن مُقلة

    شرقت بِماءِ دُموعِها

    O you who have gone far from an eye

    That has choked on the water of its tears,

  2. روحي لَدَيك وَديعة

    اللَه في تَضييعها

    My soul is a trust in your keeping;

    Fear God—do not let it perish.
