إِنindeed الدَراهمthe dirhams وَالدَنانيرand the dinars الَّتيwhich
إِن الدَراهم وَالدَنانير الَّتي
يَزريbrings disgrace بِأَبناءupon the sons of الكِرامthe noble ذَهابِهاtheir loss
يَزري بِأَبناء الكِرام ذَهابِها
Indeed, the dirhams and dinars whose
loss brings disgrace upon the sons of noble men
هِيَthey كَالحِجارةlike stones فَاِدخرهاso store them up عدَّةa reserve
هِيَ كَالحِجارة فَاِدخرها عدَّة
لِتَهابكso that they fear you القَومthe people اللئامthe base كِلابهاtheir dogs
لِتَهابك القَوم اللئام كِلابها
are like stones; store them up as a reserve,
so that the base folk’s dogs may fear you.
