I complained to the one I love of arrows
That his sidelong glances nock for my doom.
فَقالَso he said جَميلthe beauty of عشقكloving you لَمnot يَدَعنيlet me
إِذاwhen أَقبَلتyou approach أَغمضI close عَنكَto you عَينيmy eyes
He said, “The beauty of loving you has not let me
Shut my eyes to you when you approach.”
