لَكَto you الوَيلُwoe ريحَO stench الكَلبِof the dog إِنif كُنتَyou are تَعقِلُyou understand
And indeed, whoever strives to provoke my anger and suspicion—
And verily, he who incurs my wrath and suspicion
Woe to you, O dog's stench, if you have any sense—
Woe unto you, O stinking wind, if you were reasonable!
لكَالمُستَبيلِsurely like one seeking urine الأُسدَthe lions والمَوتُand death دونَbarring the way to ماwhat
يُحاوِلُhe seeks مِنof أَبوالِهاtheir urine إِذwhen تَبَوَّلُthey urinate
is surely like one seeking urine from lions, while death bars the way to what
For you are like one who provokes the lion and courting death, short of
he seeks of their urine when they urinate.
What issues from its den when nature calls!
