Since it was said, 'Parting is tomorrow,' I have been left
Since the day we parted, tomorrow,
Bewildered, unable to muster fortitude.
I have been perplexed, unable to be patient,

Grief-stricken, I deny what I endure,
Pretending not to feel the pain I'm suffering,
And tears are the truest witness ever to testify.
Though my tears bear the truest witness.

From ʿAlij, and I wrestle with grief.
In hopes of relief, alleviating my sorrow.

Then returned to find him just as he remembered:
Yet it came through, just as expected.
