Your places of assembly have remained filled

You are the creed of generosity, without doubt
may no sworn companion lack your glad-hearted bounty.
So may your contentment never lack believers.

Indeed, through kindness you have brought near—to those
With benevolence you have drawn near those
who hope—the object of their far-off longing.
Who hope for the far-reaching hopes of the seeker.

Created more tender than a dewy meadow

the gloom of black calamities brought by time.
The darkness of fresh sorrows, gloomy and black.

عطاؤك للطريف وللتليدِ
We are used to your giving; there is nothing novel
We knew Your giving of bounty and favor
in your giving of newfound and inherited wealth.
Your gift is for the refined and the uncouth.

Indeed, you have scattered poverty's gathering among us
You have scattered the unity of non-existence in us
and brought generosity into being.
And brought benevolence into existence.

So You made the wolf a morsel

For the hyena with his piercing spear.

When the people's hands grow barren, we seek refuge
When the hands of people are barren of virtue
in a hand of yours that gives birth to blessings.
A hand from You creates blessings and new life.
