ستنجيك السماحة من قوافٍ
تخبرtell بالمخازيof shameful deeds عنabout قريشQuraysh
تخبر بالمخازي عن قريش
Generosity will save you from verses
that recount Quraysh’s shameful deeds.
فنفّذso send ليto me ونفّذand send بيme onward لَعلِّيperhaps I
فنفّذ لي ونفّذ بي لَعلِّي
أرىI see وَطنيmy homeland فيسكنand then subsides بعضsome of ليشيmy restlessness
أرى وَطني فيسكن بعض ليشي
So send me aid and send me onward; perhaps I shall
see my homeland, and some of my restlessness will subside.
