نفسsoul ولوand even if ملكتyou owned عانَهʿĀna
نفس ولو ملكت عانَه
O you, far from richness of the
O you who are far from the rich now
soul, even if you owned ʿĀna!
A soul even if you owned its sigh
قلتI said لماwhen أسندhe transmitted القوthe saying (first fragment)
قلت لما أسند القو
لcompletion of 'the saying' فلانso-and-so (a man) عنon the authority of فلانهso-and-so (a woman)
ل فلان عن فلانه
