لا بد في غفلة يعيش بها ال

مرء وإلا فعيشه كدر

There must be some heedlessness in which the

One must live a life of heedlessness,

person lives; otherwise his life is troubled.

Else a life of sorrow awaits.

أما رأيت الصحيح يؤلمه

أما رأيت الصحيح يؤلمه

ما لا يبالي بمثله الحذر

ما لا يبالي بمثله الحذر

Have you not seen a healthy man pained

Have you not seen how the cautious

by something whose like the cautious man does not mind?

Is pained by what the heedless ignores?
