اعص النساء فتلك الطاعة الحسنه
ولنand never will يسودattain eminence فتىa young man أعطىgave النساwomen رسنهhis halter
ولن يسود فتى أعطى النسا رسنه
Disobey women, for that is good obedience.
Disobey women, for obedience to them is not virtuous.
And no young man who gives women his halter will ever attain eminence.
No young man has ever become great who bowed down to a woman.
تعوقهthey hinder him عنfrom كمالperfection فيin فضائلهhis virtues
تعوقه عن كمال في فضائله
ولوeven if سعىhe strove طالباseeking للعلمfor knowledge ألفa thousand سنهyear
ولو سعى طالبا للعلم ألف سنه
They hinder him from perfection in his virtues,
She holds him back from reaching perfection and virtues,
even if he strives in pursuit of knowledge for a thousand years.
Even if he dedicates his life to seeking knowledge for a thousand years.
