He draws away; I go to extremes and intend for him
the scorn of one near for one far away—
حتىuntil إذاwhen أبصرتهI saw him ذبتI melted فيin
حتى إذا أبصرته ذبت في
يديهhis hands ذوبthe melting of الملحsalt فيin الماءwater
يديه ذوب الملح في الماء
until, when I see him, I melt in
his hands as salt melts in water.
