وآن لميت من معاد معاده
وغصنand a branch جفاهhas forsaken it الشربthe water supply إنif يتعهداthey both are tended
وغصن جفاه الشرب إن يتعهدا
And the time has come for one dead at a foe’s hands to rise again,
And I die now from a return to what has returned
And for a branch denied water, if both are tended.
