While you are on your lofty perches
Are a draught for the thirsty one's heart,
Is the aspiration of every despondent heart
لأنكمbecause you دونto the exclusion of الورىhumankind
لأنكم دون الورى
فزتمyou have won بذاكwith that العالمthe scholar
فزتم بذاك العالم
For you, alone among mankind,
For you have excelled, above all people
Have gained that scholar:
In that most exalted realm
