لِلهِfor God (expressing admiration) تُرْبٌa tomb لاَحَshone مِثْلَlike جِنَانِgardens
لِلهِ تُرْبٌ لاَحَ مِثْلَ جِنَانِ
يَزهُوglows بِنُورِwith the light of حُلاهits adornments كُلُّevery جَنَانِheart
يَزهُو بِنُورِ حُلاه كُلُّ جَنَانِ
How wondrous a tomb that shone like gardens!
To God belongs dust, no garden is like paradise
Every heart glows with the light of its adornments.
Every garden is radiant with the light of its beauty
فَإذاand when نظرْتَyou look إلىat بَدَائِعِthe marvels of صُنعِهِits workmanship
فَإذا نظرْتَ إلى بَدَائِعِ صُنعِهِ

يُغْنيك عن رَوضٍ وَعَن بُستَانِ
And when you gaze upon the marvels of its workmanship,
So if you look at the wonders of His creation
It leaves you no need of a meadow or a garden.
It will suffice you instead of meadow and garden

Now greatly comforted within its precincts is
In its corners the great comforter at evening
Whoever came to be around it as time passed.
Around him has become bitter with the bounty of time

Mercy from the Guardian reached it beforehand;
Mercy from the Guardian reached him first
It encircled the bodies like shrouds.
It circulated upon bodies like shrouds

The condition of life made the dust for the bodies forever

When it was completed after his death, I dated it:
Since after his death I dated it
A tomb made pleasant by learning and the Qur’an.
With knowledge, blessed dust, and the Quran
