Your recurring acts of kindness, gratefully acknowledged by me,
The generous returns of your blessings are with me
Are a guarantee of the bounty I hope for.
With what I hope for of assured prosperity

You began it, so I hope for its renewal from you;
You began with it so I hope for a return from you
And you are worthy of what I hope for.
And you are the guarantor of what I aspire to

If a generous man bestows a favor upon you,
When the generous one renders you a kindness
Then its beginning is pledged to its end.
Let the first of it be a pledge of the last
