كريم حباه المشتري بسعوده
وأصبحand he has become فيin الآدابletters and learning بكرthe firstborn عطاردof Mercury
وأصبح في الآداب بكر عطارد
A generous man whom Jupiter has favored with its auspicious influences;
Generous, graced by the Buyer with his bounty
And in letters he has become Mercury's firstborn.
And in knowledge he rose like the morning star Mercury
بهthrough him سحبتtrailed خوارزمKhwarazm ذيلa garment's train مفاخرglories
به سحبت خوارزم ذيل مفاخر
علىover خطةthe domain الشعرىof Sirius وربعand the abode الفراقدof the Farqad stars
على خطة الشعرى وربع الفراقد
Through him, Khwarazm has swept its train of glories
By him Khwarazm dragged the train of its glories
Over Sirius's domain and the abode of the Farqad stars.
Over the celestial sphere and the zodiac
فلاso may he not زالcease فيin ظلthe shade السعادةof happiness ناعماًat ease
فلا زال في ظل السعادة ناعماً
يحوزpossesses جميعall الفضلexcellence فيin شخصa person واحدsingle
يحوز جميع الفضل في شخص واحد
So may he ever live at ease in the shade of happiness,
So he remained in the shade of fortune gentle
Possessing all excellence in a single person.
