We are uneasy in our winter,
In our winter we are restless
And in lingering apprehension amid fear.
As the glow spreads across the horizon
ليسَnot يَخْلُوis free يومُناour day والليلُand the night منfrom
ليسَ يَخْلُو يومُنا والليلُ من
لَثَقٍmire أوor زلقٍslippery ground أوor دمقِwind-driven snow
لَثَقٍ أو زلقٍ أو دمقِ
Our day and the night are not free from
Our days and nights are not without
Mire, slippery ground, or wind-driven snow.
