كريمِnoble الخيمِinnate character مرموقِadmired السجاياcharacter traits
كريمِ الخيمِ مرموقِ السجايا
شريفِnoble المُنْتَمىlineage عفِّpure الضميرِconscience
شريفِ المُنْتَمى عفِّ الضميرِ
Noble in nature, admired for your virtues,
Noble, lofty, of honorable descent
Noble in lineage, pure in conscience,
Of refined manners, kind and true
بديعexquisite اللفظdiction سَحَّارِenchanting المعانيmeanings
بديع اللفظ سَحَّارِ المعاني
فسيحِbroad الخطوِstride فيin الأدبِliterary learning الغزيرِabundant
فسيحِ الخطوِ في الأدبِ الغزيرِ
Exquisite in diction, enchanting in meaning,
Eloquent in speech, enchanting in meaning
With broad strides through abundant literary learning,
Wide-stepping in abundant learning
علىagainst الأعداءِenemies كالقدرِlike fate المُبيرِannihilating
على الأعداءِ كالقدرِ المُبيرِ
وللأصحابِand to friends كالقمرِlike the moon المنيرِshining
وللأصحابِ كالقمرِ المنيرِ
Against enemies, like annihilating fate,
To enemies like searing fate
And to friends, like the shining moon.
