أتى هنا النثارُ على نظامٍ

أتى هنا النثارُ على نظامٍ

وجاءَ الخيرُ إذ جاءَ الغمامُ

وجاءَ الخيرُ إذ جاءَ الغمامُ

Here the scattered shower came in ordered array;

The rain came pouring on a system,

And bounty came when the clouds came.

And goodness came when the clouds arrived.

فللوسميِّ في أرضي بكاءٌ

فللوسميِّ في أرضي بكاءٌ

وللزرعِ ابتهاجٌ وابتسامُ

وللزرعِ ابتهاجٌ وابتسامُ

So the early autumn rain weeps upon my land,

There is weeping for the branded one in my land,

And the crops rejoice and smile.

And for the crops there is joy and smiles.
