  1. أقول وقد ضاقت باحزانها نفسي

    لئن بعت يا مولاي ودي بالوكس

    I say, my soul weighed down by its sorrows:

    If indeed you have sold my affection at a loss, my lord,

  2. لقد بيع بعض الأنبياء عليهم

    صلاة اله الناس بالثمن البخس

    Some of the prophets were indeed sold—upon them

    be the blessing of the God of mankind—for a paltry price.
