ألا إنَّ معنى الليث والغيث والشمس

بخوارِزْمِشاهٍ غُرَّةِ الجنِّ والإنسِ

بخوارِزْمِشاهٍ غُرَّةِ الجنِّ والإنسِ

Behold, the essence of the lion, the rain, and the sun

Alas! The meaning of the lion and rain and sun

is in Khwarazmshah, the glory of jinn and humankind.

Is Kwarezmshah, wonder of jinn and mankind

ومن عجبي أنِّي إذا ما مدحتُهُ

ومن عجبي أنِّي إذا ما مدحتُهُ

تشاغلتُ بالتسبيحِ في مجلسِ الأُنسِ

تشاغلتُ بالتسبيحِ في مجلسِ الأُنسِ
