أقولُ لمولانا خوارِزْمشاهَ لا

أقولُ لمولانا خوارِزْمشاهَ لا

تَزَلْ بنداكَ الغمرِ للناسِ مالِكا

تَزَلْ بنداكَ الغمرِ للناسِ مالِكا

I say to our lord Khwarazmshah: may you never

cease to be people's master through your boundless generosity.

هل المجدُ إلاّ خِلَّةٌ من خلالكا

هل المجدُ إلاّ خِلَّةٌ من خلالكا

أو البدرُ إلاّ نقطةٌ من جمالِكا

أو البدرُ إلاّ نقطةٌ من جمالِكا

Is glory anything but one of your virtues?

Or is the full moon anything but a speck of your beauty?

جمعتَ المعالي والمحاسنَ كلَّها

جمعتَ المعالي والمحاسنَ كلَّها

وقاكَ إلهُ الناسِ عينَ كمالكا

وقاكَ إلهُ الناسِ عينَ كمالكا

You have gathered all lofty virtues and graces.

May the God of humankind protect you from the evil eye of your perfection.
